However, when it comes to cuisine, certain airports really provide. The top spots with the best airport food throughout the world and in the United States have been identified by Radical Storage, a luggage storage company and travel advice provider. The company studied information from social media postings, restaurant listings, average dish costs, and reviews from passengers at 100 of the busiest airports in the globe to determine which airports have the finest dining options.

Other airports with more specialized culinary choices were also included in the report. The finest airport in the world for vegetarians and vegans is Zürich Airport in Switzerland, which has 36 restaurants with an average rating of 3.8 out of 5 stars. In contrast, Manchester Airport in Northern England has 26 vegetarian and vegan restaurant options. When compared to Kansai International Airport in Japan, the world’s most costly airport, where the average price of main courses is $34.02, Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Vietnam is the most cost-effective airport, with the lowest average food cost of $2.75. The top 10 airports worldwide and in the US for great food are listed in the following paragraphs.

5. Narita International Airport, Japan

Despite being significantly smaller than Tokyo’s main airport, Narita ranks higher on this list than Haneda. The average rating of eateries is above any other airport in the top 10, and the average dish price is just $7.86.

6. Jeju International Airport, South Korea

The second South Korean entry on this list, Jeju airport has a small but mighty food offering, with lots of tasty noodle and rice dishes for hungry travelers.

The second best US airport for food, Dallas-Fort Worth serves both Texan cities with 125 eateries to choose between—plus, the airport has the highest average restaurant rating of facilities in the US, with 3.7 out of 5 stars. You’re bound to find some of the best airport food at DFW.

8. Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport, Taiwan

Taiwan’s busiest airport is just outside of the capital city, Taipei. It has the lowest dish price on this list, with an average price of $5.65.

9. Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport, USA

This US airport has the highest number of gluten-free eateries—this Georgia-based airport has 36 options for those who require a gluten-free diet.

10. Incheon International Airport, South Korea

This South Korean hub has a whopping 270 eateries, with a solid rating of 3.2 stars out of 5 and a below-average dish price. It is also known to be one of the world’s cleanest airports.
